Architectural Systems Inc. recently introduced Fusion Wood Panels, manufactured in Portugal and available for the first time in the US market. Intended for interior vertical applications only, the series is a mix of natural materials (from teak to American Oak) and reclaimed wine barrels. Each panel is custom-made-by-hand, adding texture and depth. Finish options range from unfinished, waxed prefinished in gloss or matte, or finished with a wood veneer. (Custom finishes are also available.) Although new to the American market, the product has been available to the European consumer for a year.
